GiftGiftGift Group Gifting App
Gift listing platform for families and teams

About this project
GiftGiftGift solves a small, specific coordination problem: a family or a team wants to track gift ideas together without spoiling anyone's surprise. Everyone can see a shared list, but the app keeps two things separate. A person's own wishlist stays visible to the group, while everyone else's gift ideas for that person stay hidden from the one person who shouldn't see them.
That split is the entire product, so the interface has to make it obvious at a glance which items are someone's own wish versus an idea from the group, with no settings menu and no explanation needed.

Each wish can carry a note and a link straight to the product, so "a really good coffee maker" becomes a specific item someone can actually buy. Secret Santa status lives right on the list itself, so once assignments are locked in, that's the first thing anyone sees when they open it, alongside a one-click way to invite the rest of the group.

Every list gets its own identity, too: an accent color and a custom emoji, set once in a lightweight settings modal. A family running three or four lists a year (Christmas, birthdays, a work exchange) can tell them apart at a glance instead of hunting through identical gray cards.
It's a small app by design, built and shipped fast, now running real gift exchanges for more than a hundred users.
