Custom e-commerce solution for a brain training device.

Thinkie makes an fNIRS brain tracking and training device that they initially marketed to retirement communities. They wanted to pivot to a direct-to-consumer approach, targeting middle-aged and older adults, but their existing site wasn't reaching this audience effectively.
We created a hybrid solution combining Webflow and Shopify. The main website—including product pages, marketing content, and even the cart—is built on Webflow. When customers check out, they're transferred to Shopify via API for payment processing. This approach avoided the excessive fees that subscription plugins typically charge (1-2% per transaction).
Beyond the technical solution, we handled all visual elements for the project: shooting the commercial, creating product photography, designing the user interface, and writing copy that speaks to their new target audience. The result is a complete e-commerce experience that maintains brand consistency while minimizing transaction costs.
